About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Trades Assistant. As a Trade Assistant you will work within a dynamic team supervised and trained by the Project Manager. This role involves the building of pump systems and some electrical wiring required. This role would be suited to someone with pluming knowledge and experience.  

Key responsibilities will include:

• Maneuvering parts and equipment in the workshop
• Disassembly and assembly of parts and equipment (pumps)
• Assembly of pump systems including valves, manifolds, controllers• Drilling tapping of steel base plates including painting
• Fitting pumps and attaching to motors 
• Sealing threaded and flange fittings

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

• Hand and power tool experience.
• Basic mechanical knowledge/experience
• Forklift experience – not essential but having a licence is advantageous
• Commitment to safety
• 3 years in an industrial environment
• Hands on
• Good eye for detail
