Plantman Equipment is a privately owned WA company servicing the mining, earthmoving and construction industries nationally with rental and sales equipment. Plantman have two purpose built workshops located in Midland and offer competitive hourly rates.
Our Midland site has a vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic Trades Assistant to join our Rental and Build teams.
We are able to offer daily overtime to ensure our deadlines are met.
Duties may include:
- Assist trade persons with build and assembly of new and existing machines.
- Assist in all areas - warehouse, manufacturing, electrical, spray painting, welding and wash bay.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Accurate completion of documents
Selection criteria:
- Must be experienced in previous positions.
- Must have the right to work in Australia (i.e. Visa).
- Hold a current drivers licence.
- Must have own reliable transport and tools.
- Experience in warehousing and stores
- Preference for mechanical aptitude.
- LF, EWP, WAH, Confined spaces tickets preferred.
- Must be proactive, safety and solutions focused.
- Must have current Forklift Licence.
