The Role
Working an 8/6 FIFO roster, this is a permanent position, servicing a site in WA’s Pilbara region. The role forms part of a small technical team maintaining the site’s Fleet Management System, In Pit Wireless Mesh and TETRA two-way radio system. The role will also have you involved in the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of various other communications systems including CCTV equipment, Hydrocarbon Management, Tele-remote Vehicles and Autonomous vehicles.
Skills & Experience
With a strong technical background and experience in maintaining site based communications networks, you will ideally have demonstrated experience in:
- Tetra radio systems (infrastructure and subscriber units)
- Fleet Management Systems (Wenco)
- Microwave links
- IPW mesh networks (Motorola)
- FM Rebroadcast systems
- Solar Power Systems
- Installations on Heavy Mining Vehicles
Candidates with a Trade or Technical officer qualification in a Communications /Electronics systems discipline will be highly regarded, however candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
