About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our close-knit Darwin branch. This key appointment will be responsible for coordinating Truck Bay activities whilst providing direction to a team of dedicated technicians and apprentices.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and coach 4 technicians and 2 apprentices
- Manage repair strategy and the coordination of parts support
- Take charge in allocating jobs to staff and ensure timely completion
- Prepare documentation and present to admin for processing
- Lead tool box meetings
- Ensure tidiness and the upkeep of the workshop
- Lead diagnostic support and escalation process improvement activities
- Provide ‘hands-on’ support to workshop staff when required
About You:
To succeed in this role, you must have the following:
- Proven supervisory/leadership experience with a strong technical background
- Experience in an OEM or workshop environment
- A Certificate III in Automotive Trade
- Possess significant Heavy Diesel experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Motivated towards developing a high caliber and professional team
- Commitment to safety and exceptional customer service
