About the business
Our client provides a range of property management services including commercial accommodation and private homes. This position will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the garden maintenance, general maintenance assistance and garden planning including permaculture and organic gardening projects.
About the role
You will be required to provide and lead a small team of (2 - 6) across a range of garden, yard and some maintenance services.
Duties may include gardening, weed management, mowing, raking and grounds maintenance.
General Maintenance duties may vary ie changing lights, rubbish removal and moving furniture.
The successful person will be able to manage a range of maintenance equipment and mowing items for the work division.
In addition planning and implementing garden projects such as community permaculture and hobby farm projects while leading small groups of volunteers will be highly regarded.

Skills and experience
Experience with maintaining gardens to a high quality standard including planting and garden care.
Ability to maintain and manage timed watering systems
Experience using a range of equipment including ride on mowers, blowers, pressure cleaners, chainsaws and hedgers.
Attention to detail and reliability with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
Understanding of permaculture and ability to manage farm animals as part of a permaculture programme ie chickens, ducks, grazing animals etc

Experience and ability to plan, cost, source items and implement garden projects and plans within set budgets and timeframes.
Qualification in Horticulture or Farming Experience will be well regarded.
Drivers licence and experience with towing small trainers required.
