The Ganger will contribute by performing highly skilled concreting tasks in assisting with the maintenance/construction of roads, bridges and drainage and other works as directed by the Supervisor Delivery Services or his delegate.
To be successful, you will have previous experience in concreting including form setting and finishing, ability to supervise plant operators and labourers as well as good knowledge of earth moving plant capabilities.

More specifically, the key requirements for success include the following and these should be addressed in your selection response:
- Manual labouring skills;
- Ability to plan, schedule and organise job elements;
- Ability to read plans and specifications;
- Knowledge of Road Construction/Maintenance requirements;
- Good knowledge of quality assurance procedures, workplace, health and safety and Council policies relative to work area;
- Good communication skills and;
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Qualifications/ Licences:
- Current Class LR Drivers Licence or ability to obtain;
- Construction Industry Blue/White card and;
- Level 1 and 2 Traffic Management.
It is desired that you have a timely and legible administrative skills (job reports, non-conformance reports, incident reports, timesheets), plant operator skills, current MR, HR, Class Driver’s Licence, experience as part of a road maintenance workforce in a Supervisory role as well as a Chainsaw Ticket.
