- Complete general duties involved in road maintenance and construction.
- Ensure maximum efficiency of CCRC plant and equipment.
- Have good knowledge of Council Local Laws and work procedures.

The Labourer will work collaboratively with the Asset Maintenance team to embed an operating model that achieves the delivery of the maintenance and construction of roads, bridges and infrastructure assets. This contribution will form a key part of the organisation success and key outcomes.
To be successful, you will have physical ability to undertake labourer duties in tropical conditions as well as the ability to ensure safe working practices.

More specifically, the key requirements for success include the following and these should be addressed in your selection response:
- Ability to work with hand tools;
- Good literacy and numeracy skills;
- Current Queensland “C” class drivers licence (Car) and;
- General Safety Construction Induction Card (White Card).
It is desired that you have some experience in the civil and construction industry, bridge maintenance experience, road maintenance experience, previous labouring experience, current LR – MR – HR drivers licence and Plant Operator certificate, current Chainsaw Operator's ticket, current ACDC certificate (or ability to obtain), Heavy Plant competency as well as a current Traffic Controllers ticket.
