- Full-Time - 6 mths probation period
Our company is currently looking for a qualified and experienced heavy diesel mechanic to join our small but expanding team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet of machines, including scheduling servicing, organizing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of heavy and light vehicles including mobile machinery. You will need to be self-motivated and highly organised.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Heavy Diesel Mechanical qualifications
- History of fleet management
- Experience in servicing and maintaining a variety of light vehicles, trucks, trailers and mobile machinery
- The skills and confidence to carry out diagnostics and problem solving
- Experience in overhauls and modifications
- Valid HC drivers licence
- Experience in preparing and maintaining maintenance schedules
- Current computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft and MEX management programs
- An understanding of Industry OHS requirements
- Strong time management & organisation skills
- The ability to work as part of a team but also work autonomously
Be able to pass drug & alcohol testing & medicals if required
Ability to work overtime and work away as required.
Perform other ad-hoc duties
Pay rate will be determined by qualification and experience.
