Mechanical Trade Assistant
Programmed Skilled Workforce is looking for a Mechanical Trade Assistant for an ongoing role based across multiple locations around Brisbane. This is a casual ongoing position with the potential of permanency.
The main purpose of the role is the maintenance of heavy vehicle passenger transport. In addition candidates is be required to remove, balance and fit tyres to the heavy vehicles on site.
You must possess the following general requirements:
- Tyre Fitting Qualifications - advantageous
- MR license or higher
- Experience working buses and/or heavy vehicles e.g. buses - essential
Other requirements of the role include:
- Ability to read electronic and written workshop manuals
- Ability to complete administrative tasks related to the role
- Provide assistance to colleagues, apprentices and contractors where required
- A Zero Harm attitude towards safety
- Provide quality customer service
- Ability to represent Programmed in an ethical and professional manner
