About the Role
VERTO Apprenticeship Advantage, on behalf of Oracle (NSW) Pty Ltd are looking for a 3rd year carpentry apprentice to join their Bowral team and have the opportunity to learn a diverse range of skills.
Oracle (NSW) specialise in building brand new multi-million dollar homes, top end renovations for property owners who want to add real value to their houses, boutique developments, boarding houses and strata remedial works throughout NSW.
You will benefit from formal TAFE and on the job practical training. You will learn how to:
- use carpentry tools and equipment
- carry out general demolition of minor building structures
- carry out levelling operations
- carry out excavation
- use explosive power tools
- erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding
- carry out concreting to simple forms
- install and construct flooring, wall frames, ceiling frames, and pitched roofs and eaves
- erect roof trusses
- carry out measurements and calculations
- read and interpret plans and specifications
- apply Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- and much more!
Essential attributes for the position:
- Drivers licence, own transport and a willingness to travel
- White Card or willingness to get prior to employment
