We are a South Eastern Suburbs manufacturing company who are currently recruiting for Die Setters / Fitters to join our manufacturing team.
Reporting to the Shift Leader, you will be required to provide technical support including die changing, press and die set up and troubleshooting. You will also be supporting the Machine Operator / Packer roles.
To be considered for the position you need to demonstrate that you have strong troubleshooting / fault finding experience, to ensure the smooth running of presses, to achieve the Production's Key Performance Indicators.
The successful applicant must have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance.
- High energy levels towards work to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met.
- Ability to work independently but also as an effective team member.
- Very good mechanical aptitude. It would be desirable if you had a trade certificate eg mechanical or similar to be considered for the role.
