Workfast is looking for Mechanical Fitters or Fitter Turners to join their team in Prestons for an ongoing role within an assembly team in a warehouse. Prestons is just a short 25 minute drive from Blacktown or 30min from Parramatta.
Candidates must be trade qualified, have at least 4-5 years experience in their trade, preferably in an assembly, production or maintenance role. We are looking for reliable, hardworking and physically capable candidate with Australian working rights. This job is a ongoing casual position with full-time hours for the right candidates.

Requirements:
- Trade qualified
- Mechanically Minded
- Able to read technical drawings
- Looking for long term work
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Own transport/ability to get to work
- Basic hand tools
Desirable:
- Dogging, Rigging, Overhead Crane or Forklift License highly desirable
- Assembly or Production Experience
- Basic electrical knowledge or understanding
Responsibilities:
- Assembling, fabricating and fitting parts for mining equipment as per tech specs and drawings
- Working in a team including trade assistants and other fitters
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
