- Service, maintain and troubleshoot all laundry equipment in the Torrensville (Adelaide) facility.
- Be prepared to be hands-on and to work non-standard hours to fit in with production down time.
South Pacific Laundry Adelaide has recently expanded and is now looking for a Maintenance Fitter to be hands-on and be part of a small but vital Maintenance team in a very busy and energetic environment.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth day to day operation of machinery (including maintenance of spare parts inventory), working in a small team of experienced Maintenance crew, liaising with suppliers and ensuring that you are helping the team meet timelines, KPI's and financial targets.
You will have a minimum of two year's experience with a solid technical and mechanical background (including pneumatics and general maintenance) that will allow you to repair, maintain and manage large commercial laundry machinery. An understanding of electrical components, electronics and computer software is highly desirable as most of the machines are run from Windows based programmes. Any laundry maintenance experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Most of your work will be aligned with the afternoon shift roster and production downtime. Please note that after hours and weekend work on an as needs basis will also be required.
