Our business is experiencing a control growth spurt and we have a full ongoing order book.
The Ideal Candidate
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office suite - Excel and Word.
- Experience as a safety support officer / representative from an administration and site perspective
- Good understanding of plant and equipment safety requirements, e.g. testing and tagging requirements, maintenance and inspection
- The ability to develop, procure and maintain asset registers and arrange maintenance or replacement of faulty plant and equipment
- Inspect and maintain the warehouse to ensure it remains in a safe, organised and tidy manner
- Carry out administrative duties, such as collection receipts, delivery dockets, con notes, and recording any damage to stock/vehicles/plant and warehouse equipment.
Essential requirements of the role include:
- Strong understanding of OH&S procedures and regulations (Cert IV Desirable)
- Proven work experience as a Store person.(Mine Site Experience Desirable)
- Plant Tickets (Excavator/Bob Cat). (Desirable)
- Basic Traffic Management (Desirable)
- First Aid Accreditation
- The ability to effectively prioritise workload and manage your time to meet business expectations and deadlines.
- The successful candidate will undertake a fit for work medical including advanced drug and alcohol testing.
