• Salary in the range of $78,747 to $83,827 per annum excluding superannuation.

Your key accountabilities will include:

Design, prototype, manufacture, fabricate, document, maintain, service and repair specialist physical structures/systems for highly sophisticated technical surveillance equipment.

Assist TSU staff in the design, development and implementation of specialist mechanical support systems and in the use and maintenance of relevant manufacturing and fabrication equipment.

Research latest fabrication and manufacturing techniques, and make recommendations to TSU management for future improvements to workshop equipment and practices.

Be responsible for the control of assets maintained by the work area, including spare parts, supplies and coordination of contractors and suppliers necessary to maintain these assets.

Undertake appraisal and implementation of equipment for potential use in support of technical surveillance operations, including identification of capabilities and cost effectiveness, stock control and other equipment maintenance functions.

Provide quality advice, present briefings and prepare quality written reports and other correspondence on various matters pertaining to electronic surveillance and ICT equipment and functions.

Initiate, build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external staff and stakeholders in support of achieving successful investigative outcomes.
