About the Company
Our client is a growing automotive group with 9 dealerships across Australia. Offering a vast range of vehicles and exceptional customer service, this well-established organisation has new vacancy for an experienced Service Advisor to join the South Gippsland team.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Motor Technician Reporting to the service manager. You will be accountable for performing mechanical service and repair work to vehicles following the manufacturer and dealership requirements. This role will be located in a South Gippsland Location working Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out vehicle repairs and maintenance accordance with manufacturer requirements
- Conducting mechanical service and repair work assigned on a daily basis as directed by the Supervisor/Workshop Controller
- Complete reports on work completed, parts ordered and recommendations for further maintenance
- Follow correct procedures when carrying our repairs and warranty work
- Maintain a sound knowledge of products and services and keep up to date current issues of technical service bulletins
- Participate in manufacturer training as required
- Maintain own tools and a working toolbox
Skills and Experience
- Motor Mechanic Qualification
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Driver’s Licence in Essential
