This international lift company continues to go from strength to strength with a national head count of over 1000 and growing. The company is one of the largest suppliers of new elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Australia. The company holds an outstanding retention of employees because they invest there staff for the long term. About the role
Due to promotion of a current staff member an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Manager to join their team based in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will have 12 direct reports and P&L responsibilities for your team area. The role will be primarily office based however you will be required be in the field with your techs and clients at least 3 days a week You will also be expected to carry out the monthly tool box meetings and have responsibility for driving consistent and reliable financial performance.

- $120,000 + Super

- Fully Maintained Vehicle OR $18,000 car allowance

Requirements for the role
- Ideally past experience as a service manager working in the lift industry or within Fire, HVAC, Security or a similar
- Previous experience managing Field Technicians
- Ideally hold an electrical licence or have a qualification in building, engineering, electrical or mechanical disciplines will be looked upon favourably
- Proven experience in driving business growth and minimising labour costs
- Strong organisation and delegation skills, with proven ability to coordinate manpower.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong awareness of safety
- Passed experience forecasting, budgeting and contract administration
