Daimler Trucks Perth currently have a permanent full time position available for an experienced workshop controller to join our servicing team in Hazelmere.

Key duties include:

  • Prepare, supervise and control workshop activities on a daily basis.
  • Ensure customers receive the best quality service by ensuring that all jobs are completed correctly the first time.
  • Liaise with Warranty Clerk on warranty jobs.
  • Keep Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems involving repairs, customer complaints and equipment.
  • Ensure completed repairs are quality tested and signed off.
  • Assist with road testing when required.
  • Check and inspect that all tools are available and maintained in the correct place and that all equipment is in suitable working condition.
  • Maintain staff morale.

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Experience in an automotive workshop control position
  • Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must hold a current WA HR licence
  • The ability to supervise and drive a large team
