We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager (2IC) for our Pedders Suspension store who has a proven ability to develop business relationships, drive sales, and lead and motivate a small team. The role will suit someone who has a genuine interest in cars and be passionate about the Pedders brand and products.
As part of this role, you will:
- Be an experienced and/or qualified mechanic
- Have strong auto parts and/or sales knowledge
- Be able to coordinate workshop tasks and perform jobs in an efficient manner to provide effective automotive workshop organisation/coordination
- Demonstrate a constructive leadership style to motivate and support your team to achieve store targets
- Excellence in customer service and liaise with customers
Required to be successful in this role:
- Communication skills, ability to work as a team to achieve store targets
- Time Management, ability to deal with competing priorities and coordinate tasks to perform jobs in an efficient manner
- Naturally be technical and mechanically focused with proven ability to perform automotive duties when required
