At 1300apprentice we have a client based in Erskine Park who are looking for a qualified Fitter/Machinist to join their manufacturing team. You will be working on large lathes that involve machining shafts to very fine tolerances and precision.
You will work from drawings and specifications, using various metals.
Candidates need to have proven experience in using high level precision machining equipment. Qualifications are essential, and you will need to provide your own basic hand tools.
Our client's location is not near public transport so it is essential that the successful candidate has their own transport.
This role is on a casual basis with a view to permanence attracting a competitive hourly rate per hour based on a 38 hour week. Some overtime available from time to time.
