HVTC Hunter is an expert in the employment and training of apprentices and trainees in the local region.

Our Host Company, Origin / Eraring Power Station are looking for motivated and career focused applicants that are eager to commence and complete trade qualifications in Cert III Engineering Mechanical (Fitter/Machinist).

About the role
The successful applicants will gain practical experience through on the job training and complete formal trade qualifications. This will be supported by formal training through a Registered Training Organisaiton.

Selection Criteria

  • A demonstrated interest and passion for the fitting and machining trades
  • Strong Maths, Science and English results
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport
  • A high level of safety awareness
  • WHS Construction Induction (White Card)
  • HSC preferred but not essential
