Our Client is looking for 2 Experienced Supervisors for an Underground Equipment Shutdown/Overhaul in Mackay

• Attractive Base plus Penalty rates with shift loadings
• All Accommodation & Flights paid for
• LAHA

You will report to the Project Manager and work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

The 4 Shift on, 2 Shift off Rotating roster for the 35 days, LAHA for the entire project & Accomodation paid for with the potential ability to pick up additional shifts, makes this an attractive opportunity.

All whilst situated in a Workshop environment 10 minutes from Mackay,


Your duties will include;

• Supervise the Repair and Overhaul maintenance of Caterpillar Underground Mining Equipment
• Completing all tasks to a high standard
• Reporting of progression directly to the Project Manager
• Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and Supervisors
• Setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards

What skills and experience do you need?

• Trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years Supervision experience in the mining industry
• Experience working on CAT underground equipment is essential
• Experience on AFC's, BSL's, Shearers and Roof Supports essential
• Overhead Crane Ticket highly desirable
• Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
