ABOUT THE ROLE
Uniting SA is looking to appoint a ‘Handy Person’ to support the Property Services Department on a casual basis. Located at 1B Glebe Street, Alberton, we require a competent professional with significant experience in general maintenance or building and enjoys working within a busy environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- General Handyperson maintenance to all the Aged Care Facility and surroundings
- Operate and maintain equipment and machinery, if required
- General maintenance of site grounds and garden
- Follow organisational policies and procedures
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Current SA Driver’s Licence & current National Police Clearance
- Ability to relate positively to the frail elderly while continuing to complete required duties
- Ability to prioritise and maintain a high standard of work with minimal supervision
- Ability and commitment to working as a team member
- A willingness and flexibility to perform other duties as directed
