Graded Tradesperson (Electrical), Wollongong NSW

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Grade Tradesperson (Electrical) to join our Coupled Pickle Cold Mill (CPCM) Maintenance Team in Wollongong, NSW. 
 
What is the Role?
As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will provide comprehensive electrical trade skills and support to the team focused primarily on the CPCM’s vast electrical control systems. You will undertake repairs, maintenance and commissioning duties as well as problem/root cause analysis, reporting, rectification and troubleshooting.
 
 Key duties include:
• plan maintenance activities;
• find faults and breakdown responses;
• conduct routine electrical maintenance checks and follow-ups;
• participate in team plant reliability and improvement activities;
• liase effectively with operators and other maintenance team members;
• work safely in all situation by following bluescope safety procedures, policies and practices.

In addition, you will be be expected to provide step up support your supervisor and team when required.

An Electrical Trade Qualification and Licence is essential for this role. An Electrical Diploma is highly desirable. 
 
To be successful in this role you will also have experience with electrical control systems such as:
• PLC’s: Toshiba, GEM80
• Variable Speed Drives AC/DC: Toshiba, Siemens, GEM
• HMI systems: Citect
• Networks:TCNet, Devicenet, Profibus, Ethernet, Starnet

This is a permanent day position with 5 x 8 hour days, Monday to Friday.The wages and conditions are as per the BlueScope Steel Port Kembla Steelworks Agreements 2015 or any agreement that replaces it.
