GCCM predominately provides civil and electrical services to the telecommunications industry. The business has been built on the foundation of honesty, fairness, dependability and quality work.

Due to an increased current work load we now require a fully qualified and licensed electrician to join our team the contract is expected to run through until the end of 2016 with the possibility of extending permanent for the right person, where any extension past this to be reviewed on work load.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic electrician; the role will involve installation of all works associated with the civil and electrical infrastructure for mobile base stations, the work will sometime be autonomous and sometimes with other staff. The role will also require the supervision of TA's and apprentices from time to time

Key Requirements - essential

·         A Grade Electrical License

·         Construction White Card

·         Sound knowledge of AS3000 and WA Electrical Requirements

·         Prepared to work away in remote locations

·         Prepared to complete non electrical civil tasks

·         Full & Valid Driver License

·         Police Clearance

·         Must be available for working away, state wide.

·         Strong work ethic & commitment to workplace safety

·         Be highly motivated and strive to be the best

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills

·         Must desire to be part of a growing and enthusiastic team

·         Excellent time management skills

·         Good presentation

Key Requirements – desired

·         Experience in cable ladder installation and basic construction skills highly desired

·         Experience operating an excavator, this means you must be experienced, not 'willing to learn'

·         Experience with western power metering connections including multiple master metering arrangements

·         Previous communications experience an advantage, all training provided

·         Western power SAC accreditation highly desired 

·         Experience in basic concreting for small footings and switchboard mounts, skills highly desired
