3Rs Group's client is a leader in forensic building inspections covering NSW and Victoria. Established for over 30 years they are continuing to grow and seek the services of a qualified and experienced Building Consultant/Inspector to join their NSW team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your workload will be spread across the Sydney Metro area as demand dictates. Depending on demand you may well be able to work within a region of Sydney closer to your place of abode.
You will consult across differing properties types including detached residential, medium and high density housing, offices and institutional buildings undertaking condition assessments, including pest, along with strata maintenance and dispute inspections.
Quality, succinct report generation is essential for each inspection. A template and guidance on inputs and structure will be provided along with strong Admin support.
To be considered for the opportunity you will need the following:
- Building Trade Certificate and Licence, or Structural Engineer, Architect or Surveyor qualifications;
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience with detailed knowledge of associated building codes and standards;
- Ideally 3 years experience undertaking building inspections and competence in associated report writing - comprehensive mentoring and training provided for very experienced Builders without inspection history;
- Timber Pest Inspection Certificate or willingness top obtain such;
- Self motivated and a strong attention to detail and pride in your work;
- Well developed communication skills along with computer literacy and report writing skills;
- Current NSW Divers Licence
