Flowcrete is the leading concrete pumping equipment manufacturer in Australia. Currently we locally manufacture and fully imported concrete pumps. Over our 35 years of operation, Flowcrete has developed and manufactured a range of concrete pumping equipment including truck mounted boom, line and trailer pumps.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic/ Fitter to work with our company based in Dandenong South. We have a full-time position available for an energetic person who wants to be part of an expanding business. The position will involve general servicing, repairs, and maintenance on trucks, concrete booms, line and trailer pumps, parts sales, call out when required, good customer service. We are happy to train and support the right person who would like to get into concrete boom and line pump servicing.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Repair and replace worn and defective parts
- Reassemble mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
- Perform scheduled maintenance services on trucks, boom, line, trailer pumps
- Service diesel engines such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups.
- Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Find and supply parts over counter
- Pack & send parts to country customers
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
The successful candidate will;
- Hold a current Driver’s licence (HR Licence Desirable)
- LF forklift licence (Desirable)
- Have a Safety-First Attitude

- Be enthusiastic and reliable

- Be able to work in a Team and autonomously
- Have great attention to Detail
- Have a Can-Do attitude
