·       Residential role (Reside in West Wyalong whilst on shift)

The role

Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operations of the site wide electrical requirements

What will you be doing?

·       Perform Electrical maintenance across the operation including, water supply systems, tailings dams, and any other mining related areas

·       Carry out all tasks as directed by the Electrical Foreman or the designated Leading Hand 

·       Complete assigned work in a timely manner as assigned on the task duration

·       Ensure job history notes are entered onto work orders

·       Assist team in fault and failure diagnosis as required

·       Actively participate in condition monitoring programs

·       Ensure all work completed is effectively communicated

·       Ensure job history notes entered on to work orders and JRD

·       Act as a Team leader during shutdown periods as required

·       Understand and make every effort to achieve equipment availability targets, set out below through application of the above practices

·       Attend breakdown call outs as required

·       Performance test equipment before signing off to ensure safe and efficient operation

·       Ensure good clear and positive communication lines within team and with other sections/departments

·       Actively promote continuous improvement to improve safety, improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs

·       Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution

Are you the one?

·       Relevant trade qualifications

·       Certification for HV and exposure to PLC work essentials

·       Experience in heavy industry maintenance and installation

·       Experience with Pumping Systems & Power Generation

·       HV switching and permitting systems experience

·       Instrumentation competencies and training
