Workfast are looking for a NRT Rail Mechanical Fitters to join their NRT team in Sydney Western Suburbs (Near Bella Vista NSW). The rate of pay is $44 per hour plus lots of overtime and allowances.The work will involve all types of Mechanical Fitting works in the tunnels and rail industry and working along side Trade Assistants, Rail Labourers and Track Labourer's. There are also lots of night shifts available including night shift loading.
About you...
Candidates must have at least 4 years Mechanical Fitting experience and hold a RIW Card (Easy and Fast To Obtain) , White Card, their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), be reliable and hardworking. This job is a casual position with full-time 50 - 60 hour weeks for the right candidate and long term work. Plenty of overtime available for the right Mechanical Fitter.

- $44 per hour plus Superannuation
- $61.60 time and a half when applicable
- $79.20 double time rate when applicable
- 10 hour days, 5 days a week - 50/60 hours a week
- $18 travel, $15 meal
What you need...
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Mechanical Fitter
- RIW Card
- Mechanical Fitter Licence
- White Card
- PPE
- Be reliable and hardworking
- Rail experience desirable
What you will be doing...
- Working with a team of Rail Pipe Fitters
- Any duties assigned by the Site Manager
- Working with a team of Track Labourer's and Rail Labourer's
- Reading detailed drawings
- Following safety operations
