A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN FOR TWO (2) CLIMBER ARBORISTS TO JOIN TOOWOOMBA REGIONAL COUNCIL
About the role
- The Climber Arborist is responsible for the maintenance of tree assets within the Region using recognised arboricultural practices.
- The Wage Rate for these positions is $1024.76 gross per week plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.4% superannuation.
- These positions work under a Workforce Flexibility Agreement - 9 Day Fortnight.
How to be successful in these positions - Success Criteria
- The mandatory and desirable qualification(s), training and/or experience, as outlined under the Success Criteria in the attached Position Description.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise skills in a more complex area or to a more advanced degree than trade level.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain plant / machinery and carry out daily services.
- The ability to ensure all work is performed to meet safety legislative requirements and responsibilities of Council.
- Ability to effectively lead, motivate, administer and manage a team to meet agreed performance and service standards.
- Demonstrated ability to understand directions and to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner.
- Ability to perform physical labouring tasks.
