Excavation Equipment currently has an opportunity for a Full time Diesel Mechanic/Maintenance Manager. EXEQ is a Fast Growing Multi-Faceted Plant & Equipment, Sales & Hire Company in Toowoomba. This role is for an experienced diesel mechanic / fitter who has extensive knowledge on such makes including Kenworth / Scania /Terex / Manitou / CAT / Komatsu / Sumitomo / Hitachi / Toyota from small plant right up to heavy machinery.
What we’re looking for:
- Motivated professional ready to take the next step in their career that can lead a team and assist in growing an already fast paced company.
- Experience with Light Vehicles/ lighting towers / civil sized mobile plant / generators / bobcats etc
- Experience with European and American trucks
- Ability to service and repair heavy haulage floats, drop decks, flat top trailers and dollies.
- Permanent Role / High Hourly Rate (Salary) / Weekly Pay
- Monday to Friday position
- Toowoomba based
To be eligible for the aforementioned positions, you must meet the following criteria:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting/Mechanics
- Ability to dismantle and reassemble machinery
- High attention to detail and commitment to time-sheets/job cards etc
- Previous experience conducting repairs and routine preventative maintenance on cranes / elevated work platforms / bobcats / generators / lighting towers, civil sized mobile plant, light to heavy vehicles, excavators etc.
- Ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence - MR minimum but HR or MC advantageous
- Current EWP Ticket / Forklift Ticket or willing to obtain
- White Card
- Client & Employer Focused / Safety conscious
- Outstanding troubleshooting / diagnostic skills
- Ability to source and order parts as required
