Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia. We are currently seeking a suitable applicant to fill the position of Workshop Foreman for our Depot in Carrum Downs.
The Role:
Applicant must be Trade Qualified, motivated, well organised, self sufficient, hold a current HR licence and fork lift licence.
Reporting directly to the State Workshop Manager this position will involve the daily running of our truck workshop, duties will include general mechanical works (this is a hands on role that will require you to be on the tools), both major and minor repairs, carrying out breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, supervising of a small team of mechanics and some admin work.
This is a hands on role and you will be required to be on the tools.
Trade certified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is essential for this role. Minimum 5 years experience in a simular role would be advantageous.
