About the Company
We are looking for qualified Security Officers and Crowd Controllers who want to be part of the exciting and dynamic Perth Racing Security Team. Operating from our 2 premier race tracks, Ascot and Belmont, as well as many external events, PRS assist by managing the safety, customer service and Liquor Control Act requirements of between 300 to 25,000 patrons per event. Perth Racing Security (PRS) has been providing security services since 2005 and also provide premium services for many regional race clubs and their carnival season. In addition to our race days, PRS provide security and event services to several venues and events around Perth.
About the Roles
PRS is currently recruiting for Casual Crowd Controllers and Casual Security Officers, reporting to the Security Management Team or delegate. You will be working with a professional and dynamic group to provide an exceptional level of customer service to our patrons and clients.
Primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Effective monitoring and securing all infrastructure at Perth Racing venues and offsite locations as required
- Ensure safety of patrons & personnel at all times
- Audit of grounds, infrastructure, equipment and access points
- Validate all personnel and vehicles entering and exiting Perth Racing and external venues
- Asset protection as directed
- 100% compliance with all Perth Racing OSH protocols and standards
- Verification of identification and enforcement of dress standards & Liquor Control Act 1988 where necessary
To be successful in these roles you will have;
- Current crowd controller licence and/or security officer licence
- Apply First Aid certificate
- RSA certificate
- Proven knowledge of Security & Related Activities (Control) Act & Security & Related Activities (Control) Regulations
- Demonstrated sound interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
