Your new company
My client is an industry leading concrete contractor who have completed a wide range of projects mainly in the residential, commercial and industrial markets. From house slabs to driveways to large commercial structures, my client deliver quality works on time and within budget. With a number of upcoming projects commencing that overlap, they are looking for an experienced concreter to work on a variety of projects across Melbourne.
Your new role
As a Concreter, you will be required to undertake a variety of tasks depending on the project including;
- Build, erect and align forms for structures and foundations
- Cutting and placing reinforcing wire mesh, preparing cement mixtures and pouring and levelling of concrete
- Ensure your work is in accordance with drawings
- Finish the concrete by floating, trowelling, edging and brushing in accordance with specifications
What you'll need to succeed
to be considered for this role you will have local concreting experience on residential and commercial projects, producing work to a very high standard, as well as;
- White Card
- Reliable transport
- Own basic hand tools
- Some experience with formwork and/or steelfixing would be desirable
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Be fit and healthy to fulfill labourous work
- Committed and reliable to work full time hours
