ANJ Engineering is a company providing specialist machining, engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the mining, food processing and commercial Industries.
Due to recent growth an opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced Fitter Machinist to join our Harvey based team.
About the Role
The position will be workshop based with occasional site work. As the successful candidate you will have experience with manual and CNC lathes, mills, fitting experience particularly hydraulics, and a great attitude along with excellent communication skills.
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
- Related Australian recognised trade qualification
- Experience in various size manual and CNC lathes and milling machinery
- Able to work to fine tolerances/fits, with minimal supervision
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, measuring equipment & documentation
- Assess work to determine the best fabrication, repair and reconditioning processes to apply
- Experience using common hand and power tools
- Be reliable and have a great work ethic
- Experience working in a engineering workshop environment
- Sound fitting knowledge with hydraulics experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and work with others
- Demonstrate safe work practices at all times
Desirable Skills
- Welding skills
- Fork Lift License
- High risk licenses including confined spaces and working at heights
You will be required to pass pre-employment drug screen.
