The Company

The Role
Due to the continued growth and expansion of the business nationally we require the services of a qualified HVAC Service Technician. You will service the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast Areas and as required start each morning on either customer sites or in Lytton at our Brisbane office. Reporting to the Qld Service Account Executive, the successful candidate will be experienced in servicing and diagnosing Residential and Commercial Air Conditioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Work without supervision to proactively diagnose and resolve faults as well as carry out general maintenance
- Communicate accurately with customer and office where required
- Mentor and assist apprentices as well as others from Technical Support team
- As required, work with the Engineering and/or Manufacturing teams for testing and fault-finding purposes.
Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years working as a fully qualified service technician (Training will be provided)
- Qualified to Cert. III Electrotechnology Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Restricted Electrical Work Licence
- Current RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current Class C Drivers Licence as a minimum
- White Construction Card (or Equivalent)
- Current First Aid Certificate preferred
- Experience and qualifications working in High Risk situations such as Confined Spaces and Heights (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage varied tasks simultaneously
- Experience using electronic based service reporting software
- Developed computer literacy
- Strong Customer Service focus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced communication skills
The successful applicant must have the ability to interact with customers in a positive and constructive manner while responding to complex situations. The ability and willingness to identify problems and originate and implement solutions is critical.

- Competitive hourly rate complimented with a performance bonus between $2 to $5 per hour
