Agpoint Australia, a leading manufacturer in ground engaging tools for the agricultural sector is seeking a Toolmaker with strong CNC programming skills to join our team at its Freeling site on the edge of the Barossa Valley. This is a full time permanent position with the ordinary working hours being 38hr/week spread between 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, as per the requirements of the business.
Your primary responsibilities will be to provide full support to our CNC machining operations, from machine programming to fixture design & manufacture, as well as assist with the repairs to hot forge & cold blank tooling. A willingness to assist with plant maintenance activities is essential.
The successful applicant must be trade qualified with excellent machining skills, who has a proven record in supporting all aspects of CNC machining operations, as well as having experience in the repairs of press tooling. Previous experience in using Inventor 3D design software & in hot forging is desirable.
We are looking for a person who is self-driven with a positive outlook to work within a small maintenance group to actively support our production department. This is an opportunity to be part of a small cohesive team in a long established manufacturing business.
