About the role
A truly fantastic opportunity has been created for someone looking for their next career step in the commercial and industrial ‘design and construct’ industry.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General co-ordination of day to day site activities;
- Working with site manager to develop construction programmes and critical milestones;
- Sub-contractor co-ordination;
- Quality Assurance;
- Maintain a safe working environment;
- Conflict resolution, ensuring professional communication at all times;
- Conduct regular defect inspections prior to practical completion and issue defect lists to subcontractors;
- Attend project pre-start and handover meetings;
- Attendance to any defects raised during the defect liability period as required;
- Critical project reviews and reporting to Project Manager; and
- Training as required.
About you:
- Recently qualified or in your final year of apprenticeship;
- Open and honest communication style; and
- Strong relationship management skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors and local authorities.
