Custom Fluidpower has been successful in winning a new service contract with BHP and due to this we are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Technician to join our Service team.
This diverse role will enable the Senior Hydraulic Technician to work independently & with a team to undertake workshop & on-site fixed plant maintenance in the Pilbara.
Duties of the role include hydraulic & mechanical fault finding, servicing & commissioning of fixed plant & hydraulic components.

Skills and Experience:
- Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting).
- Tertiary training in Fluid Power.
- Proven track record of having worked in the hydraulic industry and providing fluid power solutions on industrial and mobile equipment.
- Ability to record and document daily processes accurately.
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Ability to liaise confidently with Customers.
- Assist to provide estimates, options, improvements to clients and generate ongoing work.
- Mine site shut down work, pertaining to hydraulics & lubrication on fixed plant
The role includes both workshop tasks in our facility in Kewdale and performing work on Customer's sites both metro and throughout WA. Experience with trouble shooting hydraulic and mechanical breakdowns and upkeep of hydraulic equipment is the skill most desired for this role.
