We are a long established brick and block laying business based in Sydney, with a strong client base across residential and commercial construction. We are actively looking to recruit a trade qualified, experienced bricklayer to compliment our current tight knit, hard working team.
The ideal candidate will ideally have a minimum of 5 years' experience working within the Australian construction industry; experience across residential and commercial small to mid tier size projects, will be trade qualified and motivated to work for an excellent business who nurture long standing employees and highly value their staff.
The candidate will have experience in managing small teams, acting as the conduit between the Directors and Site Manager in order to report between the two parties and maintain relationships, experience in setting out, reading drawings, and evaluating variations along with being a skilled bricklayer who is able to work quickly and efficiently with little supervision or direction.
Our expectation of the candidate is that they will bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the job; understand AS3700 requirements and are able to work with a manner of materials, such as brick, block, flashing, reinforcement, corefill, caulk, etc., to complete the project at hand fully. We are seeking someone who is able to manage and direct personnel, and also who is able to plan and forecast job requirements such as materials and plant for the site.
