The Position
Reporting to the State Service Manager, we are looking for a skilled and service oriented Service Technician to deliver the Company’s customer service brand and experience in all areas of service, installations, commissioning preventative maintenance on-site repairs to our building capital equipment.
As part of our Service Team, you enjoy tackling service projects on your own or supporting team members, and even be a buddy to newcomers. Our office is located in South Eastern suburbs with works located in inner city and Western suburbs.
Key Tasks:
- Complete required service tasks as per time and quality standards at all times
- Proactively assess faults with electro-mechanical systems and proposing solutions
- Working with site supervisors to complete repairs or installs
- Always working with safety in mind!
- Timeliness and completeness of documentation per standard
- Excellent understanding of SWMS, WHS requirements including of incident and hazards
- Warehouse maintenance and assistance with stock take
As Ideal candidate:
You have at least 2-3 year’s demonstrated experience as field Service Technician in capital equipment/building industry. You have a focused attitude, be competent in conversing and dealing with clients regarding our Service Tasks Offerings as well as knowledge of health and safety operations. Other requirements also include:
- Electrical Qualification or Reconnect /disconnect desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and fault identification skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics would a plus
- The ability to work at heights
- Industry white card
- Able to work flexibly including call outs or over time as required
Successful candidates must consent to pre-employment checks: police check, driving demerit status, medical and D+A.
