Concreting jobs for commercial projects commencing in August, across Melbourne with leading contractor
Your new company
This commercial concreting contractor have been is a family-run business that has been operating across Melbourne for over 30 years. Starting their business concreting they soon expanded to include formwork which means they quickly became a trusted and recognised major contractor for Tier 1 & 2 builders.
Current and upcoming projects are predominantly apartment builds, up to 20 story and ranging from $5M - $20M in value.
Your new role
As a Concreter, you will be required to undertake a variety of tasks depending on the project including;
- Build, erect and align forms for structures and foundations
- Cutting and placing reinforcing wire mesh, preparing cement mixtures and pouring and levelling of concrete
- Ensure your work is in accordance with drawings
- Finish the concrete by floating, trowelling, edging and brushing in accordance with specifications
What you'll need to succeed
You will have local concreting experience on a range of commercial projects for Tier 1 or 2 builders, producing work to a very high standard, as well as;
- White Card
- Relevant industry tickets
- Reliable transport
- Own basic hand tools
- Competent experience in formwork and
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Be fit and healthy to fulfill labourous work
- Committed and reliable to work full time hours
