We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Service Manager – NSW & ACT. Based at our Regents Park facility, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to join our successful team. 

The overall focus of the Service Manager is to be responsible for the management of the service department, ensuring all operational, sales and financial targets are achieved. Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Daily management of the field service, service administration and workshop staff within the NSW operation.
  • Ensure all operational and financial targets are achieved inline with set KPI’S
  • Develop new business and sales opportunities whilst establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Responsible for the service departments Profit & Loss statement
  • Ensuring all pre delivery targets are achieved within the delivery schedule
  • Liaise with the National Service Manager – Australia and New Zealand and provide reports on your departments as required
  • Ensure workplace health and safety policies and procedures are followed throughout the NSW service departments and participate in safety meetings
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out within the guidelines set in JLG’s policies & procedures documentation.
  • General ad-hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will have previous experience managing a busy team, ideally a service department within the access equipment, heavy equipment or automotive industry. Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills are necessary along with the ability to develop and lead a team.

Being customer service focussed, the successful candidate would also have previous experience working to and being responsible for the departments P & L, developing new business and sales opportunities along with being able to work towards deadlines and targets in a calm and controlled manner.
