The Company
Our client is a global market and Australian market leader within the industrial equipment solutions industry. With head offices based in the USA, they manufacture a range of specialised industrial / commercial capital equipment solutions. Their equipment and reputation has been the clear leader for decades, which is attributed to both the quality of their solutions and the level of service that their clients receive across technical servicing, customer service and account management. Currently they are looking for a Field Service Technician / Field Mechanic.
The Opportunity
Your role will be responsible for the external (field) service & technical support of equipment based in your territory. You will work to provide Preventative Maintenance, Scheduled Servicing and Fault Repairs. Jobs are generated through the customer service team and allocated by the specialist Scheduling Team on a job-by-job basis. As a Field Service Technician you will be visiting sites across a wide variety of industries from manufacturing, corporate, retail, shopping centers, logistics and warehouses through to councils, airports and hospitals to name a few.
You
- Hands-on technical service related experience within any machinery / equipment industry.
- Technical qualifications preferred but not ideal.
- Strong problem solving, communication and customer service skills.
- Self-driven, motivated, honest and reliable!
Valid / Current driver’s license
