Our Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car Technical team is seeking a customer oriented individual to support technical issue resolution of highly complex repairs to its authorised dealer network in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. 

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Technical Services and Field Force, your key responsibilities will be:

  • To provide technical assistance and guidance in a mentoring and coaching capacity to our authorised dealership network in fault finding of both electrical and mechanical concerns across the entire Mercedes-Benz passenger car range
  • Reviewing current system and processes for sharing technical information and making recommendations for improvement
  • Report technical issues and trends to Factory Liasion team
  • Conduct regional technical exchange meetings with headquarter team
  • Ensure our Fixed First Visit targets are achieved
  • Review and approval of goodwill applications
  • Perform inspections and generate reports
  • Ensure adequate tooling and equipment is in place within the dealer network
  • Providing professional and timely customer service to internal and external stakeholders that exceed expectations

In order to be successful in the role, you will ideally be a highly qualified automotive technician with significant technical knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz passenger car range.  You will have a demonstrated history of providing and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.  Your strong communication skills (written and verbal) and conflict handling ability will ensure that that you will be able to foster positive inter-department and dealer OEM relationships.  You must have the ability to work autonomously and the ability to influence at all levels.  Strong problem solving, time management and negotiation skills will also be essential to your success in this role.  You will also be a proficient user of MS Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.

The role will be based in the Brisbane regional office in Bowen Hills however as the position also supports Queensland and Western Australia, regular interstate travel will be required in the role.

In order to be successful for this role, you will need the ability to be able to achieve a base level security clearance.  At the time of application, you will not necessarily need to have this clearance.
