Randstad Canberra are currently recruiting for an experienced fitter/machinist to work in a production environment. The role available will suit a candidate who is interested in evening shifts and weekend work. Our client are a multi-national food manufacturer in the ACT and offer attractive rates and conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the plant, including break down work and mechanical fitting.
To be successful, you will have:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification - fitting, tuning, machinist
- White card and Asbestos Awareness ticket
- Basic work tools
- 2-5 years + in an industrial/production environment
Primary Duties:
- Plant maintenance and mechanical fitting
- Break downs and emergency call-outs
- Maintaining mechanical safety standards
