EGR Building and Commercial Products is going through an exciting period of change and we need people who are driven to make that difference and share in our journey.
As a truly vertically integrated business, the EGR group continues to be a dominant leader in automotive, point of purchase, sheet extrusion and international sourcing.
We are currently seeking a motivated experienced individual to take up the position as a Cabinet Maker/Shopfitter in our Display division based at our Darra site.
Your core requirements will include (but not limited to):
- Previous experience with cabinet making, cutting, assembly and installation of display products.
- Carpentry work - using hand and power tools such as circular saws, bench saws, drop saws & routers.
- Set up, assemble or prototype products needed for sampling, display, showrooms or marketing.
- Able to maintain a high level of safety
- Must be able to work as part of a team or alone within a fast paced environment
- Be able to read and interpret plans
- Experience with high gloss acrylic panels would be preferred, but not essential.
About you:
- Trade Qualified
- Previous cabinet making/shop fitting experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/kitchen environment
- Manual Drivers License & Forklift License would be preferred, but not essential.
