Your new company
Our client is seeking skilled labourers with carpentry exposure to join their expanding team, with permanent work on offer for the right person. They are enjoying a period of great growth and have picked up a project that will run for next 2 years - requiring an extra person to help manage the workload. You will be working on an number of apartment blocks in Highett to begin with.
Your new role
Your new job will involve general labouring work with some light carpentry duties. Moving materials on site, helping the carpentry team with lifts and some basic fixing work plus any additional tasks as required. You be required to complete tasks to a good standard whilst also maintaining a high level of health and safety. The company is willing to train the right candidate up in different areas so you can grow and develop your skillset in the role.
What you'll need to succeed
The candidate must be a team player with a 'can do' attitude to work and be willing to go above and beyond expectations to get the job done. Our client is looking for someone who is honest, reliable and hard working as they want them to hit the ground running. Good industry knowledge and exposure to carpentry work is key. Must have basic hand and power tools.
