Our Client is proudly WA owned and operated and has been in operation for over 20 years, providing safe, continuous and reliable services to a wide range of companies in tourism, government, mining, schools and social groups in the Metropolitan area. They also specialize in remote areas right across WA, Northern Territory and Queensland to provide the utmost of continuity of service in a safe and efficient manner.
We are seeking experience Heavy Diesel and Light Vehicle Mechanics, ideally with Bus experience to join their team. We are looking for a well-rounded mechanics that ideally has some basic electrical experience and if you have your air conditioning ticket that would be highly regarded. Majority of these positions will be working on a 2:1 roster FIFO.
To be successful in the position you will need:
- HR drivers Licence
- Heavy Diesel or Light Vehicle Qualification
- Experience on Buses or Trucks
- Excellent Diagnostic skills
- Stable work history
- Strong and proven hydraulics experience
- Basic electrical experience
- Experience working on BCI and Scania buses ideally
It is essential that the successful candidates are capable of being able to diagnose and troubleshoot to get the buses back on the road. You will need to be able to will deal with over heating , cooling systems, wheel bearings, air conditioning, brakes, and everything else mechanical.
