This position requires a dynamic, proactive and self motivated person with spare parts experience who can assist customers on repair and individual spare parts enquiries. 

The candidate must have retail / direct customer interaction experience combined with superb computer skills.  Demonstrated experience working within the functionalities of a CRM program is a must.

Those from the boat trailer, marine, car spare parts industry, combined with a mechanical background would be an advantage.

This is a autonomous and fast paced position requiring the candidate to have strong multi-tasking and time management skills. 

Key duties will include:

  • Give customers advice on spare parts for all makes and models of trailers
  • Source particular spare parts
  • Order and restock spare parts stock and maintain inventory
  • Prepare quotes of parts/repair and advise customer if purchasing new trailer is more beneficial to the customer.  
  • Educating customer on spare parts and trailers
  • Take orders in store, over phone and via website
  • Assist within busy showroom with new trailer sales
  • Keep website and product selection up-to-date 
  • Close sales 
  • Arrange and book boat fittings onsite
  • Follow up customer calls and emails and maintain CRM
  • Maintain client data bases and make after-sale calls
  •  Achieve sales targets.
  • Arrange freight and dispatch

  • Past Trailer Spare Parts experience 
  • Proven sales qualifications and experience
  • Excellent phone manner and face to face communication skills
  • Outgoing, friendly and motivational personality
  •  Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
  •  A drive to succeed 
  •  Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility
  • Ability to run all aspects of a fast paced and busy spare parts division
  •  Computer literacy which encompasses skills in Microsoft Office, CRM and Emails
  • A willingness to work span of hours which may include Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5pm, Saturday 8am – 12pm.
